Jurij Ferri

Founder (with my wife Valeria) and Head Brewer

It was in 1999 that my passion for home brewing started.

I was having fun at a medieval festival in a village near my hometown, when I saw some guys dressed as monks that were brewing.

I got completely captured from the brewing process and I stayed hours with them acquiring my first skills about brewing.

From that day on I started buying books about home brewing and I was brewing almost every week, trying to learn as much as possible (I studied chemistry, for some years in my youth days).

I’ve always been cooking in my life and I have also had a short career as a professional cook, so in 2002 I was going to open a very special bistro were to introduce people to my very special way of “fusion“ cooking. Instead my wife convinced me to open a small craft brewery, it was year 2003.
